As many of you are already aware, YouTuber Director Trevor recently announced the end of his collaboration with his longtime girlfriend, Mungai Eve, suggesting potential relationship issues.
However, in a revealing video that has resurfaced, Trevor had previously addressed the topic of a potential breakup with his more famous girlfriend.
In an undated video, fellow YouTuber Presenter Ali questioned how their work dynamic would continue, considering Eve's role as the interviewer and Trevor as the videographer.
Amid nervous laughter, Trevor responded, "Huyu ni dame. Mi ndio najua" ("She's the lady. I'm the one who knows."), stressing that he had created the channel but it belonged to Eve.
He expressed a preference for her to keep the channel even if their relationship faced challenges, stating,
"Maybe kukiwa na issues ningependa iwe yake. Mimi naeza anza channel leo na bado iwe freshi kabisa" ("If there are issues, I would want it to be hers. I could start a new channel, and it would still be fresh").
Trevor highlighted that the brand and name were hers, and even though he knew the password, other aspects were unknown to him, including financial matters.

This sentiment contradicts his recent decision, as announced in yesterday's statement, to no longer work with Eve and to rebrand the popular channels.
The shift in Trevor's stance raises questions about the events leading to this change, leaving observers to speculate on the reasons behind the deviation from his previous commitment made in the old interview.
