Charlene Ruto being prayed for by Benny Hinn

American televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn has prayed for First daughter Charlene Ruto to get a husband soon.

During the Healing the Nation crusade held at Nyayo Stadium, Charlene was prayed for to have God's power and anointing as she went about serving the youth of the country.

The televangelist held a mega crusade at Nyayo Stadium on 24-25, February 2024.

During the prayer and healing session which was attended by President William Ruto and Rachel Ruto, Charlene said she had great love for not just the youth of this country but Africa as a whole.

Benny Hinn prayed for her to have God's guidance for her call as her parents witnessed the moment.

However, she felt she could not do this alone, so she asked the preacher to pray for her to get a husband.

Heeding to the request by Charlene, Hinn asked the congregants to stretch their hands towards her as he prayed for her heart's desire.

"Okay, you want me to pray for that? Straighten your hands towards her.. give her a husband that would fulfil that call with her, Lord send her way that young man that will be her strength and her great supporter," Hinn prayed.

"She cannot do this alone Lord, she is going to the battlefield to win souls, to snatch souls away from the enemy camp, she needs a husband lord,

"She needs that husband so send him her her way, let him be exactly what she wants, everything she wants , grant it, Lord, in the name of Jesus," he prayed.

Among those who attended the crusade was Apostle Ezekiel Odero of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church.

The First Lady commended the event saying it is a blessing to have the televangelist in the country, since his coming united the religious leaders in Kenya.

"The oneness of the Body of Christ and the harmony witnessed today among our religious leaders and believers is divine," Rachel Ruto said on her X account.

Also in attendance were Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura and Reverend Kathy Kiuna among other dignitaries.

Speaking at the crusade, President William Ruto revealed that he first knew he was going to lead Kenya was in 2006.

The President said he received the revelation then during the Asuza 100 celebration of revival in the US.

"I will say this today here in Nyayo Stadium. That the first time I got a revelation that I was going to be President in Kenya is in 2006 and during the Asuza 100 Celebration of Revival in the US and I was there with my wife and many others," he said.

"I couldn't believe that the son from Sugoi will one day be the president of Kenya."

The President said he was certain that God would yet again favour Kenya with another revelation and revival, to help make it a great nation globally.
