American singer Billie Eilish American singer disclosed she ended her relationship with her ex-boyfriend after having a dream about Christian Bale in a recent interview.

Billie Eilish revealed the dream she had years ago that made her realize she needed to break up with her boyfriend at the time.

The Grammy-winning singer shared about the random dream featuring "The Dark Knight" actor alongside her brother Finneas O’Connell.

This is during an interview with Amelia Dimoldenberg at the Oscars nominee pre-launch where they talked about their favorite superheroes.

When asked by Dimoldenberg whether their hit song "Ocean Eyes" was written about Cillian Murphy, the music duo jokingly agreed that it was "probably" about him.

O'Connell even added that he was a big fan of Cillian's eyes in Dunkirk and that he probably wrote the song about him.

Eilish mentioned that "Batman is the one, though.” Following up Dimoldenberg asked her “Is that your favorite superhero?”

The “Bad Guy” singer responded, “Yeah? I don’t really know much about superheroes,” but that she did like 2008’s The Dark Knight specifically.

This led the singer to then share she needed “to be real” for a moment.

Expounding more Billie said, “A couple years ago I had a dream about Christian Bale and it was at a little cafe in the sunlight, and it made me realize that I had to break up with my boyfriend at the time.”

Dimoldenberg dropped her mouth in shock at Billie's revelation while O’Connell burst into laughter.

“No, like genuinely. I woke up and I came to my senses,” Billie quipped. “It’s over.”

Although Eilish didn't name which boyfriend she was referring to, she was most recently linked to The Neighbourhood’s lead vocalist Jesse Rutherford. However, they reportedly broke up last year.

At the moment it seems Billie's career is currently her main focus, and she is not romantically involved with anyone.

She and O'Connell are nominated for Best Original Song for "What Was I Made For?" from "Barbie" and will perform at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday.
