Kenyan content creator Sean Andrew, grandson of the late Emilio Mwai Kibaki, has shared his thoughts on potentially joining politics.

During a Q&A session with his followers on Instagram on Sunday, the 30-year-old appeared to dismiss the possibility of venturing into the challenging political arena.

One Instagram user asked Kibaki's grandson if he ever considered actively engaging in politics.

"Do you ever think of getting into politics or maybe joining politics?" a fan asked.

Sean responded to the question with a video showing him shaking his head side to side, a gesture indicating "No."

It is likely that the fan asked this question to find out if the handsome content creator plans to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, who served as Kenya's president for two terms from 2002 to 2013.

In an interview about two years ago, Sean Andrew noted that he had no plans to delve into politics like his late grandfather.

He said he is more content contributing to Kenyans as an ordinary citizen, which he intends to continue.

"I don't see the need for politics in my life. I think I can help Kenyans more as an ordinary citizen. Anyone can improve the lives of Kenyans, not just politicians," he said.

Sean was interviewed approximately two months after the death of the late Mwai Kibaki, where he mentioned that he was still coping with the grief.

The model, however, praised the immense love Kenyans showed him during the difficult time of his grandfather's passing.

"We Kenyans are very supportive of each other. I was very happy to receive immense love from Kenyans during the tough period we all went through. I am at peace and let's continue with that tradition," he said.

Sean Andrew is among the most famous members of the family of Kenya's third president. He is the son of Jimmy Kibaki, the second child of the late Kibaki.
