Nigerian superstar and entrepreneur  Davido has intimated he's dropping the legal suit he'd filed against one of his baby mama's days after his lavish wedding with culinary expert Chioma Rowland.

If you're not up to date, the 'Unavailable' hitmaker had sued his first baby mama Sophia Momodu seeking custody of their 9-year-old daughter Imade two weeks ago.

However, the father of 6 now seems to have changed his tune.

Through his socials, Davido addressed the whole saga as he penned an open letter to Sophia and his daughter.

"You are constantly bringing up the death of my child at any point u can to just remind us of this tragedy that haunts us everyday of our lives.. Imade will grow up to see I fought for her .. as for now u can have her ... P.S she won't be a child forever .. enjoy," Davido wrote on his X account.

Addressing his daughter, the singer reminded her that he has nothing but outpouring love for her no matter what.

"Imade Aurora Adeleke ! Your father loves you!" He simply wrote.

On claims that he has been seeking full custody over the 9 year old, the Grammy nominee rubbished those claims clarifying that he had been fighting for joint custody of his daughter. A battle that has totally drained him.

"All I asked for was 'joint custody' but cus it is Davido y'all wanna act like you all can't read! SMH I'm off this ... y'all be blessed and I pray this never happens to you ," his post read.

The artist, through court documents filed by his lawyers had asked the court for "unfettered and unrestricted access to Miss Imade," The motion was presented at the Lagos State High Court, on April 17, 2024.

In the papers he'd also highlighted Sophia has allegedly been using their daughter to constantly extort money from him.

He detailed she'd turned down a high-end condominium in the gated community of Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos which the 'IF' crooner had purchased for their living just so he'd continue sending her rent money.
