The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has disclosed that the prime suspect in the Kware murders confessed to killing 42 women.

DCI boss Mohamed Amin announced on Monday that, during interrogation, the suspect admitted to murdering 42 women and disposing of their bodies at the dumpsite over the past two years.

"The suspect confessed to having lured, killed, and disposed of a total of 42 female bodies," Amin stated.

He added that the murders occurred between 2022 and as recently as July 11, 2024. The bodies were all killed, wrapped, and disposed of in a similar manner.

"The suspect claimed that his first victim was his wife, whom he strangled to death, dismembered, and dumped at the site," Amin said.
