Martin Khafafa, previously the Chief Operating Officer of Radio Africa Group, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the company.

This announcement was made by Radio Africa Group's Board of Trustees Chair, Kiprono Kittony, on Wednesday.

The leadership change follows the retirement of Founder and CEO Patrick Quarcoo, who has served Radio Africa Group for 24 years.

Kittony assured that there would be no significant changes within the company, stating, "Martin Khafafa is now the new CEO starting today, and there are no other changes in the management."

The announcement was made during a farewell party for Quarcoo, whose retirement became effective on July 24, 2024.

Kittony encouraged the Radio Africa staff to support Khafafa as he steps into his new role.
