The late Marrie Achieng who was Nyaboke Moraa's first-born daughter was announced dead on Sunday.

The death of Marrie was made public by Sanda Dacha who is Moraa's best friend.

“It is with profound sadness that I announce to you the passing on of @nyabokemoraa ‘s daughter. Your prayers is what she needs right now🙏🏿 REST IN PEACE Marrie😭,” read a post from Sandra Dacha.

A popular blogger leaked some of the chats Marrie had with her friends before she died.

The texts from Marrie seemed so distressing.

According to the texts that leaked Marrie used to open up to her friends about the unhealthy relationship she had with her mother.

"I had to go stay with my shosho for a while cause of that... she was a way to abuse both physically and verbally," Marrie said.

"How I was acting, It is a very dumb excuse because why would you blame a child for not turning out how you expected? Crazy... nilikuwa nashinda nikitoroka home because I couldn't stand how they were treating me."

Some unidentified people shared their own experiences of how they had to endure a very traumatic childhood because of how their parents treated them hence shuttering their mental health.

"But me honestly I do understand Marie... I have gone through the same and am the firstborn tunakapitianga sana.... I also had to move from my mom's house to my grandma's place cause of the verbal abuse," an unidentified individual wrote.

"Like parents wanafaa kujua vitu wao hutuambia zinatuaffectingi mentally... me ata I can go for months kam sijaongea na mamangu ata kumuona coz everytime  ni new issue."

Aside from the critics some sided with the mum saying that raising a teenager can be so stressing sometimes because they can push you to the wall hence provoking you do something unreasonable.

"Ati toxic parents wazazi wanajaribu kurekebisha but generation ya sai wanataka kubebwa ati baby chololo... mbona sisi tumekuzwa na hiyo harsh condition and tuko somewhere," an unidentified person commented.

"Sisi millennials our mums used to beat us tukikosa kama mwizi and still today we uphold and respect them," another one said.

"I refuse to blame a mother, there's a side we all don't know, our mothers are great people," another one commented.
