Celebrity entertainer and entrepreneur DJ Pierra Makena has shared reasons why she has yet to give her 8-year-old daughter a sibling despite the girl's constant whining.
This is after her daughter, Ricca Pokot aired out her frustrations with her mom while talking to veteran comedy Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill during an episode of his show.
"I am an only child," started the bubbly 8-year-old as she launched her case. She went on to add, "I have been forcing my mum to get a baby. I want a boy.
I am a girl and I need a boy in case I am bullied he can protect me.
But I will appreciate whatever I get,"
Responding to Ricca calling her out on national television, the skilled award-winning DJ explained being a single parent in this current economy was already hard.
Noting adding another baby to the equation without a man would be self-sabotaging.
'In this economy getting a brother is hard.'I am a single mum.
I have to have a man." Pierra, who also doubles as an events organizer argued.
To which her daughter responded by highlighting she didn't care about the schematics of adult relationships. She just wanted to stop being an only child.
'The right man can wait, but a sibling has to come fast." Ricca confidently stated.
In a past interview with Oga Obinna Pierra shared why she is still unmarried at 42.
" Who says there is an age one should be married? I have had people saying am saying certain things because I am not married.
I do not want to get married to the wrong person to please the society. I have not met that one person who I can say 'I want to spend the rest of my life with them.'
Her ideal man would be?
"God-fearing, Hard working. Jitume, you do not have to be rich, A man who is clean and smells good. A good kisser."
All in all, Pierra noted she would want more kids.
