Pastor and evangelist Size 8 has broken her silence on the issue of marriage a few days after claiming to have parted ways with her partner DJ Mo.
Speaking on Obinna Show Live, Size 8 admitted that every marriage has its challenges but stated that many people in marriages bring these challenges upon themselves through pride.
The mother of two said that the main cause of tension and stalemate in marriages is often the pride of the spouses.
"Every marriage has its ups and downs. What I would advise women is that one key secret to marriage is undoubtedly Jesus Christ, putting God at the center, and humility," Size 8 said.
"The problem for many people in marriage is pride. If you both come with pride, who will hold the marriage together? So the greatest weapon for marriage is humility, even for men," she added.
The pastor criticized men who believe that humility and submission are responsibilities solely for women in marriage.
She said that the first attribute that should be seen from all partners in a marriage is humility.
"Men, one key aspect of love is humility. Many men lack this. Many men do not have the humility to even allow their wives to do what they want to do."
"And women lack the humility to submit to their husbands. Man, accept your wife to be as she will, and you wife, submit to your husband's authority," she advised.
