Foreign affairs PS Korir Sing'oei has announced his successful meet up with globally recognized rapper Khaligraph Jones in a bid to plan and reflect on an upcoming concert dubbed 'Harmony 4 Haiti' which will be held in Haiti.
Sharing photos of him and Papa Jones at his office the PS highlighted as a government body they understood arts crucial impact in unifying societies and the bliss it brings during tough times thus their decision to come up with the concert.
"The Arts and Culture play critical unifying roles in our society and are key pillars for integration and stability.
Towards this end, I met with the OG @KHALIGRAPH to reflect on the upcoming #Harmony 4 Haiti concert," started off the Foreign Affairs PS.
Korir went on to highlight the importance of the concert and all they hoped to achieve through it. Stressing it was part of an initiative to celebrate the Kenyan Police who've been working tirelessly to help the Caribbean nation regain peace.
"Harmony 4 Haiti focussed on understanding and appreciating the noble work by the Kenyan Police Force in the Multinational Security Support Mission(MSS) to Haiti, which has so far registered impressive results since its deployment.
The concert will feature creatives from Kenya, Haiti, Romania, among other countries in the Caribbean, and will provide an avenue for historical and cultural exchange," the last of the PS's post on X read.
The initiative has been met with mixed reactions from netizens especially Kenyans on X (KOX) with most of the reception being negative and mocking.
