Hailie Jade Smith, daughter of the iconic rapper Eminem, opened up recently about the emotional impact of her father's music on her.

In a heartfelt moment during her podcast "Just a Little Shady," she revealed how listening to some of her dad's new songs can be a deeply heavy and moving experience for her.

During a discussion about Eminem's latest track, "Somebody Save Me," Hailie admitted that the accompanying music video was particularly intense. After watching it once in its entirety, she found herself hesitant to revisit it due to its raw emotional content.

"I definitely cry every time I hear it," she shared, referring to both the song and the video, which features Jelly Roll.

She confessed another tracks that hits her in the chest and brings out the waterworks is "Temporary" recalling moments where she audibly sobbed, especially moved by the poignant lyrics.

“Between that and ‘Temporary’ … I audibly sobbed I think for both songs but especially ‘Temporary.’” the content creator added.

Touching on why the two tracks hit her so had Hailie noted growing up she had no idea of her dad's struggle with drug abuse. Crediting her parents for shielding her from the drama and Em's brokenness at the time.

"I will say, watching the video back, and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up where I didn’t realize how bad things were.

“But, now like, as an adult in hindsight, it’s so scary to think about. And I think that’s why I get emotional so much, like just thinking that could have happened.” the 28-year-old podcast host shared.

Finishing up she added, “I can’t even listen to [‘Mockingbird’] anymore without crying,”
