Tech-savvy billionaire and business magnate Elon Musk has left many surprised following his reaction to an article by The Star Newspaper that referred to him as, 'not very attractive'
Elon showcased his unwavering and interesting sense of humour after a screengrab from the publication gained traction on his social media app X.
While most expected him to be offended and come up with a witty or insulting rejoinder, the 53-year-old billionaire just laughed off the subjective statement.
In an article dated 27/08/2024 highlighting Musk's Starlink satellite internet growing popularity and the headache it was causing Kenyan telecommunication companies the opening statement read, "Elon Musk is not a very attractive person but he is probably a genius,"
The article went on to praise the father of 11 detailing how over the course of years Musk has greatly revolutionized the modern world. From electric cars to electric batteries, space travel and now the internet provider world.
While the opening statement seemed to trigger a lot of online users who were quick to share their disdain with the sentiments and voice how attractive they found the X CEO the 53-year-old mogul appeared unbothered. Clearly, taking no offence at all.
Reacting to a post on X that carried the story, Elon shared a laughing emoji as his response leaving things at that going on with business-as-usual posting about space travel and politics.
His laughing emoji has garnered over 1.3 thousand likes, 71 reposts and 10 quotes. Interestingly, it has been bookmarked by 25 people.
On their part The star shared a screengrab of Elon's response on X blurring out the earlier subjective remarks. They welcomed him taking things lightly pointing out he laughed at the article.
