Paul Morton Jr., widely known as PJ Morton, is a renowned American musician, songwriter, and record producer who will be performing live in Kenya on September 15, 2024, at the Glee Hotel.

With his band in tow, Morton promises to deliver an electrifying show that merges the vibrant energy of Africa with the soulful essence of New Orleans.

A key highlight of Morton’s career is his affiliation with the global sensation Maroon 5.

He joined the band in 2010 as a keyboardist and backing vocalist, after being invited by his friend and Maroon 5’s musical director, Adam Blackstone. Morton’s audition was a success, leading him to become an essential part of the band.

His unique blend of soul and R&B has greatly enriched Maroon 5's signature Pop Rock sound.

Morton’s influence extended well beyond studio recordings. His exceptional live performances contributed significantly to Maroon 5’s high-energy shows, which have captivated audiences around the world.

By 2012, Morton was a full-time member of Maroon 5, lending his vocal and keyboard talents to albums such as Overexposed (2012), V (2014), Red Pill Blues (2017), and Jordi (2021).
