American rapper and actor Ja Rule was reported to owe the Internal revenue service (IRS) over 3 Million USD (Over Ksh 300 million) over alleged unpaid taxes.
A lawsuit filed against the rapper and his wife Aisha Atkins claims they owe taxes from 2005 to 2010 and 2012 to 2017 to their country.
The rapper had previously been sentence to 28 months in prison for not filing tax returns.
The rapper insisted that he pays millions of taxes
He has now allegedly struck a deal to pay off the debt. The deal is reported to have been signed in may.
