American actor Alec Baldwin accidentally fired a prop gun in the set of the fiim 'Rust' killing a woman who is said to be the film's director of photography called Halyna Hutchins, a 42-year-old.
A man, who is said to be the film's director is also said to have been injured.
The International Cinematographer's Guild said in a statement that "The details are unclear at this moment, but we are working to learn more, and we support a full investigation into this tragic event."
The movie was being filmed in New Mexico which has now been shut down.
