Diamond Platnumz says he's ready to get married. The singer said this as he congratulated his friend Haji Manara on his wedding.
"Nami niko njiani InShaAllah (I am on my way too, Inshallah)" he said adding a walking emoji.
This is not the first time Diamond is talking about marriage. When dating Zari, he said his wedding to her would be a royal one.
"We don't want a small wedding. Our wedding should be one of the biggest weddings East Africa has ever seen. Meaning the budget has to be big."
"This year we are visiting my dad officially. Diamond is OFFICIALLY going to ask for his hand to marry me. He has been to see my family a lot of times but now he is going officially. He wants to take that step this year," he said but the wedding never happened.
While dating Tanasha Donna, Diamond said he was getting married to her but later postponed their wedding to a later date because Tanasha was heavily pregnant with their son Naseeb Junior.
In a recent interview on BBC, Diamond said he doesn't see himself getting married soon as it might slow down his music career.
"What do you mean settling down? I've settled down."
When is he marrying? The host asked.
"Hmmm you know, I still wanna give them more music. I still wanna give them more good music."
Does he believe having a wife will stop him from putting out more good music?
He shook his head to confirm this statement.
"That's what I have seen. From all of my friends. That's why I feel like, let me give you guys the good music. The time I'm about to retire I will get married," Diamond said.
The star's mother has in the past opened up about her wish for her son to get married before her death.
