The Kansoul - a Kenyan Afro pop group that is made up of Madtraxx, Mejja and Kid Kora - was on The Trend this past Friday to talk about their new single "Bablas", the local entertainment industry among other things.

During the interview which was hosted by Larry Madowo, a Kenyan On Twitter (KOT) asked Mejja where he eats presumably because the Genge musician has gained a lot of weight over the years.
"Uliza Mejja anakulia wapi, he is bigger than Madtraxx it’s like they are going in opposite directions,” he posed.
Unlike many celebrities who would make light of the whole situation or play it cool, reason being it's a live interview, Mejja was having none of that and decided to put the critic in his place.
Mejja said he did not know why someone who has never bought him onions, tomatoes or oil was bothered about his weight, adding that people should love themselves how they are.
"Unajua Manze, I check my weight lakini si kwa gym kwa kiio. Na kama hujawahi ninunulia kitunguu, hujawahi ninunulia nyanya and hujawahi ninunulia mafuta wewe ni nani kuniambia hivo? Mimi nataka mtu ajipende venye yuko," he said.
