Fena joined Adelle and Shaffie in studio to talk music and working with Njugush and is she beefing with Khaligraph?

We wanted to know when she sat down with Njugush to work on the song?

So I was in studio and I found myself vibing this beat and of course by the time I was done with verse one I just knew I had to call up Njugush. So i hit him up, I sent him on Whatsapp like, yo' wooiyee please, he loved it, he came through to studio freestyle, it was just a project of love, he came through, It's the first time some has done something so left heeled, it was so random it really was, but soon as that song started I just knew this has to be my next project and i wanna see it through.

How long did it take to record this and record the video?

I had recorded the song in a day or whatever and then he came through quick session but the shoot he was there from beginning to end, the entire day like no complaints, nothing, just being a good spot. Yani I'm so grateful. He is so so humble, and chilled out and just making everybody laugh on set so you don't even know when he is being serious.

She is on record asking Khaligraph for a collabo, but none has happened, because he's been like chill!! Is it due to beef?

Music is an expression, so the essence of it being we've known each other so long, but we don't have an actual single together. Over the years, you would see me randomly posting, khali give me a collabo woiyee, but he is my homie from like..we will do other projects.

In the song Fena mentions that now she is the one saying to collabo's, has she actually said no to people ho have approached her?

'Yeah yeah, but not ati kwa ubaya. It's not even coming from a bad place really, it's just I've come from doing so many collabo's so I'm just taking a break from that,  it's just I'm more selective of whom I'm working with. I have to be riding with you, it's not just now collabo's for the sake of it

What is the hardest no she has ever said in terms of collabo's?

'There is one where uhmm I can't really go into it but it's a big big deal, it's like an international act. The deal behind it was clashing with another deal that I was signing so it just went and I felt so bad, but then I told myself this other deal will open so many other doors that I will get to meet him one day. 

Is there somebody she is yet to work with who is top on her list?

'Well, Sauti Sol, Nyashinski, Khaligraph, for me those are the top three in Kenya that I still want to work with. I mean we've worked on other projects together but it's never been singles so like it doesn't have to be  this year, or next year, but in my lifetime those are the artistes I want to work with

And then Wizkid always I keep saying, Tiwa and anyone else who is dope I mean I'm down to work with, she concludes.
