Worlds number one undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather jr is one proud father. He recently took to his instagram page to let the world know how proud he is of his son for graduating high school.
“I’m so proud of my son for doing something that I didn’t do, and that’s graduate high school,” Mayweather said in a social media post.
He continued “When I️ was his age I️ dropped out of school and followed my dream of boxing to take my family out of poverty!!”
The caption comes as no surprise as many boxing fans particularly those of the champ’s are aware he cannot read or write. In previous years stars such as 50 cent whom he has a beef with has used it to make fun of him.
Even when he came out to say he could neither read nor write and was making effort to correct that, by getting himself a tutour. Social media had a field day in mocking him. 50 cent his one time best friend suggested a reading challenge. He’s one of many people who can’t but gets dragged over it because he is in the public eye. Talk show host Wendy William recently revealed that R Kelly had in confidence told her he could neither read nor write.
18-year-old Koraun Mayweather, one of four children of the boxer, graduated from West Ranch High School as part of the class of 2018 with his family by his side, including Floyd. Not to be outdone by his father, Koraun also posted the same image on social media, saying, “Thank you to my parents for motivating me throughout this journey.”
