Eko Dydda finally made it back home to his ailing wife after going through one of the most traumatic 72 hours in his life.

Remember he was trending after his wife sent out a plea to help release him from what they termed as unlawful detention by the police in the name of quarantine.

Eko Dydda left his house after his wife suffered an attack to get her meds but sadly, he could not make it back home before curfew hours. Read his story below:

Yesterday, Boniface Mwangi who brought the story to the public's attention the first time, took to Twitter to announce the good news that the gospel artiste has been release

“Eko Dydda was released today. Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to ensure he was released. Let’s make it the norm, to call out injustices when they happen. To the good people in government who did the right thing, we appreciate you too." Boniface tweeted.

From this tweet, so many people came to rescue the singer in the midst of his ailing wife's effort to have him released.

Last we heard from Eko Dydda, he was live on a phonecall with Waihiga Mwaura but it was cut short after his phone was snatched from him while at Kilimani Police station.

At least justice was served for him after extortion on the name of enforcing the law.
