Ed Sheeran has been named the highest-earning solo musician on Forbes new Highest-Paid Celebrities rich list. The 27-year-old has taken home more than $110 million over the past year, according to the publication.
And although the top earning solo act, the Shape Of You hitmaker only placed ninth on the list – coming in behind fellow UK musicians U2 and Coldplay.
But it was still quite a jump for Ed, progressing 62 places since last year’s figures.
Katy Perry, 33, was crowned the highest earning female, coming in at number 19 and cashing in $83 million.
Her former rival Taylor Swift, 28, placed two spots below her at number 21, earning $80 million.

UK superstar Adele, 30, placed at 29, with an earning of $69 million.
The Hello singer’s hero Beyoncé Knowles, 36, came in six places after her with $60 million. And keeping it in the family, her husband Jay Z, 48, earned $76.5 million – making the Carter family’s total $136.5 million.
And while many tipped a Hollywood actor or songstress would top this year’s list – it was none other than professional boxer Floyd Mayweather.
The athlete, 41, cashed in $285 million with his defeated opponent Conor McGregor, 30, placing number 12 with $99 million.
The pair’s August 2017 fight generated more than $550 million in overall revenue.

The actor and new father – who did not appear on the top 100 list last year – is said to have taken home $239 million, and Forbes has said it is the most he has ever earned annually in his career so far.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and beauty mogul Kylie Jenner’s, 20, made $166.5 million over the past year.
Her impressive figures put the youngest list maker in third place – a significant jump from her first time at 59 last year.
The list makes Kylie officially the highest earning from the Kardashian-Jenner brood, with half sister Kim Kardashian West 30 places behind at 33.
The KKW Beauty entrepreneur earned $67 million over the past year and was the only Kardashian to make the cut.
However, momager Kris Jenner, 62, did sneak in with $37.5 million at number 84 – a place likely due to her 10% commission she makes from all her six children.
Others in the top 10 of the Celebrity 100 included Hollywood actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who earned $124 million, and the lovable Judge Judy star Judy Sheindlin, 75, who cashed in $174 million.
