There are those among us who make it a point to do things when they are alive that will leave a mark. Here is my list of those I believe will forever be remembered.

Mighty King Kong

He was physically challenged and was a champion for rights of physically challenged people. His music genre was reggae and his most popular song is Lady's Choice, sadly he passed on due to food poisoning on Christmas day.

E Sir

He put South c on the map, and any song with those words remind us of him.. The veteran of hip ho music has highly influenced many current musicians including Nameless, Nyashinskiamong others.E sir's song that was an anthem was 'Boomba Train' which he collaborated with veteran Nameless.

K rupt

His popular song was 'Tukaweke' and just like E sir he made Nairobi West popular. Sadly he was shot dead while being robbed of his phone.

Achieng Abura

She was an R&B and soul music artist who had an angelic voice, Achieng Abura was one of the coaches in the musical reality competition show Tusker Projrct Fame. She left a mark of fighting for equality among all the Kenyan musicians when it comes to airplay of Kenyan Music, she sadly died from a short illness.

Lady S

She was one of Kenya's most promising female rappers who began her music career from Calif Records. She released three songs before her death, leaving behind her band mates rapper Rat A Tat and singer Choku. The popular song that Lady S left us listening to is 'Ukimwona' which she colaborated with singer Pili pili.
