Media Personality Betty Kyalo and entrepreneur/ Socialite Huddah Monroe have honored the pledge they made to Divas Power Initiative.
Yesterday, she spent time with the dancers and apart from honoring her pledge, the girls got a special treat at her beauty palour from their hair, manicure and all.
On a post, she also mentioned that they are now organizing a mentorship program and are hoping to meet over 600 girls.
“Now we are organizing the mentorship program that will see me meet 652 of them. God is Great.”
This comes days after the Jamuhuri edition of Churchill show, where a story on MSJC queens & Divas dance initiative group from Mathare moved many hearts.
The girls got to talk of how they are unable to go to school, attend dance practice and afford sanitary towels.
Under the training of Moesha Kibibi member of the famous FBI dance crew, they hope to secure a future in their dancing talent.
Moesha Kibibi, has been in the famous FBI dance crew for a while now and is also the founder of the Divas power initiative. This is an initiative that mentors up to 2000 young girls into pursuing their dancing talents.
Apart from the makeover, Betty gave them a cheque of Sh 100k.
Whereas Huddah Monroe, delivered her Sh 200K pledge, clothes from here Rebel cloth line and Huddah cosmetic products.
The crowd in attendance moved by the story donated over Sh1 million to the girls dance group as many other people who pledged their money and support.
