T.I finally jetted into the 254 with his lovely wife Tiny which settled the hearts of many Kenyans who were worried.
Manz’ supposed to perform today and rumors had circulated that he will be arriving today which to them sounded shifty. By 11 pm yesterday (6th December) he was here and he went straight in for the press conference.
Kiss100 got the opportunity to ask him a few questions in relation to his love for Africa and what it means to be in Kenya. T.I said,
it is inspiring and enlightening just to see so many of us you know what I mean holding different positions in society which is not something we were used to seeing in America
T.I is termed the king of trap music and the evolution of the genre has grown and he says it is flattering that it has come this far. It is all over the world now including the 254 where so many young people have made a living out of trap music.
“It has evolved and become quite extensive as long as people have stories to tell that relate to stories of trap music then we will continue to have different installation and people sharing their stories. I believe it is a shaking movement. it is flattering and humbling that so many people jumped on it” T.I says
So many people have disqualified a lot of music as trap. So the question has always been what qualifies a song as trap music and who else other than the king to give the answer.
“I don’t think the sound is subject to an opinion on whether it is trap or not” T.i clarrified
Today he is here to give Kenyans a show they will never forget courtesy of Jameson. See you there.
