Elani’s Maureen Kunga got married a few weeks ago in a very intimate wedding ceremony.

After all the events revolving around the wedding were done, Elani went back to their passion, music. They launched their album two weeks ago and from their side of the story, it went well.

Maureen Kungu has made quite a few changes in her life from going healthy and losing weight and recently she revealed that she finally forgave someone who hurt her a long time ago.

The talented artiste said she let go off the pain because she just wanted to be free, keeping no grudges.

THIS WEEKEND I DID A HUGE THING! I LET GO OF A PAIN I HAD BEEN HOLDING IN FOR YEARS AND FORGAVE SOMEONE (IN PERSON) FOR SOMETHING THAT TRULY HURT ME, MANY YEARS BACK. I CAN’T EVEN DESCRIBE THE PANIC I FELT HAVING THAT CONVERSATION AND THE TEARS THAT FLOWED! BUT I AM VERY HAPPY TO REPORT THAT IT IS EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL AND LIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF FORGIVENESS. THAT QUOTE, THAT HARBOURING ANGER IS LIKE DRINKING POISON AND EXPECTING THE OTHER PERSON TO DIE IS SO REAL! I WAS JUST KILLING MYSELF SLOWLY AND MISSING OUT ON THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE BECAUSE I COULDN’T SPEAK ON MY PAIN. IN HINDSIGHT, I CAN’T BELIEVE I DIDN’T DO THIS SOONER. BUT NOW THAT I HAVE, I AM AT PEACE, WITH A VERY LONG-TERM, DEEP-SEATED ANGER AND PAIN RELIEVED FROM ME AND I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THIS DOES FOR ME AND MY LIFE! LESSON FOR TODAY: IF YOU CAN, AND IF THEY ARE HERE, TALK ABOUT IT AND FORGIVE. REGRET IS A DIFFICULT THING TO GET OVER!’ READ HER POST.

The main reason she posted this was to advise her followers to let go of the small things holding back their peace.
