Ali Kiba might just be regretting the choice he made leaving his wife, Amina Khalef.
She is back in Kenya which was the last stage of their breakup.
He seems to have dedicated his new song Mshumaa to his Kenyan ‘wife’ Amina Khalef.
He says even if he dies, he believes that he and the love of his life, will see each other again.
“Nakumiss. Tutaonana, hata Mungu akipanga, nikufe kesho, tutaonana tena. Ifike kesho, waniweke kwa mchanga, nikufe kesho.” (I miss you, we will see each other. If God plans that I die tomorrow, I believe, we will see each other.)
Adding; “Labda nikukumbushe, nilipokuvisha pete, ulisema huniachi mpaka nife.Uwepo wako ndio ulikua wangu uzima.”
(Let me remind you, when I put a ring on you, you said you’ll never leave me until I die. Your presence was my being.)
According to the rumors, the end of their marriage largely stemmed from the fact that Ali Kiba and his family live together in his house. And it’s not just his sisters and mother and brother who live with him, artistes signed to his record label too, live in his mansion.
Ali Kiba and Amina may have separated but not divorced. He addressed the issue saying,
