Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are. Johnson Mwakazi opened up on his battle with pornography adding that he was introduced to the vice by a classmate.

According to him it did not cross his mind that whatever he was doing was wrong until a teacher stated it was. Speaking in an interview on Radio Jambo he said,

I was in class 8 and my friend suggested that we go watch a film adding that he would pay for it. I did not know what kind of film it was but I followed him anyway. I found out later that the film my friend had offered to pay for me was actually pornography after that I  also looked for a friend of mine and decided to pay for him so that he could watch.

Johnson Mwakazi went further to explain his first day's experience.

The first day I watched pornography I was afraid to even look my mum in the eye. In form 1 is when one teacher stood in class and advised us that watching such films is a sin.

His advice to fellow men is to stay away from pornography. Mwakazi says it can get bad when it becomes an addiction.

As a man when you watch pornography yes you will get aroused but it is not normal. Every time you arouse yourself through pornography you become an animal. We are told that everyone who has faith practices it through his actions whether in the morning, at noon or at night.

To my fellow men if you have been watching porn ran away from it. Marriages are breaking and people are losing jobs. The only way to clear a man's mind is to stay away from such.

Now he goes to churches and school to mentor men against indulging in the vice and using his experience to testify to the consequence of such actions.
