Top comedian Chipukeezy is putting Kenya on the map with his comedy. He is literally giving other comedian a run for their money.

Do not be deceived by his petite self coz this ninja is way talented.

Chipukeezy came over to our studio today for an interview with Adelle Onyango on Breakfast With the Stars. Coming to the studio was not something new for him as he worked as a presenter alongside Jeff Mote and Lynda Nyangweso.

During the interview, Chipukeezy talked about his trip to the US and his experience. He said, "It was a fantastic experience, I learnt alot and I am happy to be back. The reaction was also good."

While in US, Chipu got the chance to meet his idol, Kevin Hart. He went ahead to reveal how he got the chance to see him face to face. "I went to Dallas to perform. I performed for 3 minutes and before I left the stage, I said I love Kevin Hart and he inspires me. When I left the stage, a woman came and said that was very funny and asked if I would like to meet Kevin Hart the following day at his book signing in LA."

"I was scared leaving Nairobi"said about his fears leaving his hometown going to a  different continent to perform.

In Kenya, the comedy industry is growing by the day, but Chipukeezy explained the difference between the Kenyan and American comedy scene.

"Comedy scene there is grown, but the only thing we need to do here as comedians is to keep doing what we do. You are as good as your old joke."

He so far learnt that failure is a good thing and you should never center yourself on money.

This coming Friday he will be doing his One Man Show at Alliance Francaise, a red carpet event, and the gates will be open from 6 pm.

He wants to do his story as a documentary and he is set to premiere his new show Embaya this Friday.
