Endometriosis warrior Njambi Koikai appealed to Mombasa county governor Joho Ali Hassan to help her settle her medical bills. He contributed Sh1million, a move that has really touched her.
Jahmby announced on the eve of her birthday that she is happy turning a year older, but is just brought down by the thought of taking pills all the time to help her get better.
Just as we were waiting for her to share something on her social media page about a new year, she went silent only for her to announce that the day before her birthday, she suffered a complication that led her to the surgery room yet again.
Jahmby Koikai has gone through so much especially last year, but one thing that is clear in her latest post is that she still thanks God for the journey she has gone through and is hopeful that it will eventually get better.
hey fam. So on the eve of my birthday, i was rushed to the Emergency. Found leaks in the chest area, right lung area that immediately called for surgery. I just got out of the operating room. It went well. Now in the recovery ward. We thank God for His mercy, love and grace. So i have a tube draining out. Thank God it's just one tube, that's gone through my right breast, uchungu noma ajaab but haina noma. I've had several before.I'm in praise mode thanking God. He's been great to me.
Just a minor setback...you know the comeback is loading😊❤❤❤
We do pray she gets better and that she will eventually give us a testimony just like Tia who shared her experiences with Endometriosis.
Due to her Endometriosis diagnosis, she had two surgeries and was told she needed a third. Despite the diagnosis, she still wanted to try and have a baby, but not being able to have kids was her immediate fear.
It made me feel out of control. I knew that I desperately wanted to have children and after speaking with a nutritionist that came recommended by my doctor, I was reassured that with the right eating habits and lifestyle changes (no sugar, no carbs!), I would have a better possibility of getting pregnant. I started to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I became extremely health conscious, changed my diet, and I think those changes helped with ultimately getting pregnant.
