Kevin Kioko aka Bahati pulled away President Uhuru Kenyatta from his official seat and sat on it while he serenaded the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta with his hit song, Mama.
The talented young lad made history with his antics and for him, this stunt was not meant to disrespect the President or any government official, but rather to entertain the crowd and do something out of the norm.
“History written. I Bahati become the shortest serving President as President Uhuru “vacates” his chair that I may sing the song Mama to Kenya’s First Lady Margaret Kenyatta!!! GLORY TO JESUS,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Bahati is one of the youngest musicians in the 254, and though he has a successful career right now, he faced alot of challenges in his childhood after he lost his parents when he was young.
Bahati, 22, went to a children's home in Mathare where he was able to have a roof over his head and get an education. He managed to finish high school with remarkable results and now he is at the top of Kenya's most listened to artistes with a huge fan base.
The young talent visited our offices for a short interview at Kiss FM studios, then afterwards went to welcome back popular Classic 105 radio presenter Maina Kageni.
While at it, Bahati sat on Maina Kageni's seat while he stood up to say hi to him and started operating the studio decks. Looks like Bahati wants to take everyone's job.
Maina also shared the pic with the caption that read: "Huyu jamaa anazoea watu!!!! Nice seeing you, Bahati!!!!"
But don't hate on Bahati guys, it was just on a light note at the studio. Check them out below.
