Weezdom quit the gospel music industry last week and to many, it was not a surprise.

He has always been trolled for producing music that is not gospel in as much as he calls himself a gospel artiste.

Weezdom was under Bahati's EMB Records but as of Sunday, EMB was shut down. Just a week after Weezdom announced his transition. It seems like he was aware of the plan ahead.

Bahati claims that there is too much hate and negativity in the gospel industry and that is why he opted to start another project.

He finally spoke about one of his proteges quitting, saying he is shocked.

"Yo My G @WEEZDOM254 Quiting Gospel Music and Choosing to be Off the Music is One of the things that Shocked me Bro! But I Understand Men make Decisions and as You take on your New Endeavors May God Lead & Guide you. Remember Our #Motto FAILING AIN'T AN OPTION 💪💪💪 #Blessings 🙏" Bahati posted.

The comment section is full of people who are throwing shade at Wezzdom saying he is not part of the gospel industry so they feel there is no loss.

We are not sure if Bahati will keep producing music as an artiste because he did not address that in his long PSA on the closure of EMB.

Akothee and Bahati have mentioned that quitting is not an option so let us wait and see what Bahati, Weezdom and Denno have in store for us.
