Davido and Chris Brown
Davido and Chris Brown
Davido is one of the most successful African artistes and he attributes his success to hard work and no his father's money like everyone says.

He made sure he expressed this anger in a video he shared on Twitter after his song scooped 2 million views in 24 hours that it is not his fault that his father is a rich man.

Davido has really worked hard to put his music on the world map and the fact that he did not make it to Beyonce's album, The Gift, social media trolls woke up.

This is where the talk began. According to them, he is not talented and this time his father's money could not help him, Beyonce was looking for talent and that is why she went for WizKid.

Of course, this did not rub him the right way and he took to twitter a rant saying,

I Have Been In This Industry For 7 years And Nobody Supports me, They Just Hate Me - Not My Fault That My Father Is Rich

One of his first songs, Omo Baba Olowo Yoruba for Son of a Rich Man shows that he is proud of his lineage but he has also worked hard to get to where he is based on talent and good music.

His father, Adedeji Adeleke is a Nigerian billionaire, business magnate, founder and president of Adeleke University. He is also the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited.

Davido just dropped a song with Chris Brown, Blow my Mind which has been received so well so I guess that's what he should be focusing on and forget the haters.
