Jacque Maribe opened up and spoken about how hours after Monicah Kimani was killed her fiance came home crying.

Apparently they had had an disagreement that Friday (September 21), the couple went out partying when they had a bitter exchange and at one point, she shouted at her lover demanding her car keys and ATM cards.

One of the witnesses said;

They left their table as if to talk outside, but they did not come back.

They drove back home and its there that Jowie tried to commit suicide using a pistol he had borrowed from his neighbour, Brian Kassaine.

"He started removing his clothes. By this time, I had got into bed. When he came back in the room he was crying, telling me he was sorry and that he loves me," Jacque told police.

"I told him my child was sleeping and that he should stop making noise lest he wakes up the child from sleep. he kept crying."

According to Jacque, Jowie's response was:

"Jacque, I am sorry."

Jacque ignored his pleas. To capture her attention, Jowie walked into the bedroom's walk in closet and shot himself.

"I heard what sounded like a gunshot. I jumped out of bed and went to the closet and he was lying on the floor. He had blood on the upper chest area."

Jowie with his fresh gunshot wound looked at Jacque and kept saying to her

"I love you. I'm sorry."

In a panic, Jacque told police that  she ran back to the bedroom to pick her phone. When she got back to the walk in closet, he was not there.

"That is when i saw through the window that he had gone to our neighbour, Brian Kassaine. I ran out and found Jowie was lying down. Brian came out of the house."

Brian told police that Jowie was shouting at Jacque:

'If you wanted to see me dead now it has happened!'

Jowie told Brian he had a fight with Maribe who threw his clothes down the stairs. He asked Brian to take the pistol he had borrowed.

"i WENT TO MARIBE'S HOUSE, took my gun which had 28 bullets and also collected one spent cartridge," Brian said.

He revealed how they rushed Jowie to Nairobi West hospital but he wasn't attended to and they drove to Kijabe Hospital and later Lang'ata hospital, where he was admitted until September 24.
