It has been a long gruelling three weeks for Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe who has been in incaceration. She spent days and nights locked up at Ggiri Police station before she was transfered to Langata Women’s Prison.

Her family and friends have been on tenterhooks praying for her, worrying day and night.

Jacque together with Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu were charged for the murder of Monicah Kimani.

Jacque Maribe’s prison uniform is different from the rest. Here is why…

Monicah was discovered by the brother dead and dumped in her bathtab in Kilimani, her hands were bound, mouth taped shut and neck slit.

Yesterday, Justice Wakiaga granted bail for Jacque and denied it to Jowie.

During this emotionally demanding period, Jacque was supported by many of her pal, workmates and family. They all stuck by her.

Some of the people who have had her back include Dennis Itumbi, Shix Kapienga, Terryanne Chebet, Monicah Kiragu, Kambua, Francis Gachuri, Nairobi Senator Johson Sakaja, MP Moses Kuria among others.
