Kenya's hotly contested general elections are right around the corner and every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to vie for a seat. This is that time our minds are filled with all these promises about how we will have jobs, new schools, clean water, good roads etc. This has been the trend since time in memorial, but we still get taken for a ride each election year.

2017 is not that far, trust me. We are about to stand in long a** queue yet again waiting patiently to vote for our next leaders.

Steve Mbogo is one of the men vying for a political seat in 2017 as a MP for Starehe. During an Interview with Kiss FM's Jeff Mote and Chipukeezy on The Drive, Steve had a lot to say about his race for the seat.

But he said something that was quite catchy. Chipukeezy mentioned the fact that word on the street is that Jaguar and Steve Mbogo will be going head to head for the Starehe MP seat in the next general elections.

Steve came out to clear the air.

He said, "Jaguar is talented in singing. He's in fact recording a very god song for my campaign. You know we have different talents. Jaguar is talented in singing; he's a good friend of mine and I appreciate his talent in singing. But we are talking about leadership and serving the people. These are two different things."
