Mheshimiwa Jaguar got elected as the Starehe constituency Member of Parliament after beating out ODM’s Steve Mbogo and independent candidate Boniface Mwangi. Since then he has slowed down on releasing new jams but has increased his promotional appearances in the political arena -but it seems he has also been working.

The Starehe MP recently unveiled a project he had personally undertaken, the upgrading of Fig Tree market. So it was with great glee that he unveiled it’s uplifted face on his social media account and even I must say the difference between the before and after photos is a marked improvement.

He accompanied the post with the following statement:

It is a reprieve for traders at Fig Tree Open market following the construction of modern stalls in the area which is going on in phases. Lights have also been installed allowing traders to carry out their businesses till late into the night….24/7 economy inaweza given the necessary facilities..
