Are Joey Muthngi and MacDonald Mariga the newest celebrity couple?
All indications seem to point in that direction.
In an interview with Monday Blues, Joey let it slip that her bae is none other than football darling, Mariga.
She coyly said, "Mariga is a cool person and he and I are real friends. I am very fond of him. I will be moving to Italy in January and I guess time will tell what next."
Pressed further to confirm if they are an item, Joey responded,
"I said I guess time will tell what next. I said I am very fond of him."
She further paid credence to the claims by revealing that she will be taking a vacation to Italy where Mariga is based in January.
"Well, I will be moving to Italy in January for holiday. I think I need to get a good break for myself and so I can confirm to you that I will be in Milan for a while. The BetIn deal, whose shoot was in Italy, opened doors for me and given a chance I would still work with them."
The former Citizen TV news anchor and host added:
"I don’t know where this (relationship) will take us. Ask Mariga. But we will see what becomes of it. Unfortunately, I just felt that what I was going to do with life did not coincide with what Citizen TV had for me. Besides, I had a good time there and I will miss everyone, especially my fans."
