Khaligraph Jones, real name, Brian Robert Ouko has become one of the most prominent rappers in the Kenyan Hip Hop scene, with his dope punchlines and rap flow over the years.
He rose to fame with his sick and fast rap style in his diss track, and there is no doubt that the Kayole-born artiste is a go-getter who's not afraid to ruffle a few feathers to make it to the top spot in the rap game.
Though many don't know this, the Mazishi hitmaker won the Kenyan Edition of the Channel O Emcee Africa competitions at the age of 19, back in 2009, which propelled him to the success he is enjoying currently.
When Khaligraph and his beautiful girlfriend Cashy Karimi, dropped their much-talked about song, Micasa Sucasa, they were totally overwhelmed by the response and positive feedback from their fans.
It all started from a random freestyle as they were hanging out in his car, and fans dared them to drop a track, which they did. This also brought Khaligraph Jones' boo into the limelight, revealing her amazing rap skills and talent to the world, after being behind the scenes for years.
Well, I got the chance to sit down with Khaligraph Jones and his soft-spoken lover, Cashy, to ask them a few questions about their music and why they decided to take shots at Kenyan deejays in Micasa Sucasa.
Other than his new song, I got to ask him about his on and off beef with Kibera-born rapper Octopizzo and if he would ever consider doing a collabo with him. I also asked him why he decided to finally drop a collabo with his lass, who many didn't even know about.
The two have actually dated for 5 years now and seem very committed. He also spoke about future projects with Cashy and his take on Femi One's Pilau Njeri and whether beef is healthy for the industry.
Watch the video below as Khaligraph Jones reveals the beginning of his beef with Octopizzo, and the only thing that would make him collabo with the Utanisho rapper plus more juicy details.
