Kamene and Kibe are this time trying to not only understand the situation but also help come up with a solution.
So Kamene read a story where a lady was conned by her husband and was left broke with nothing but the clothes on her body.
"There is this babe who posted her story on social media that left me shook. So she has everything in line in terms of her career and all finances. She is working with three children so she decided to open a social media account. Within running around this interwebs, she met a shnack man. She met a man who is 12 years younger than her.
He lived in a different country but they liked each other and she thought, hey this is the one. She was blessed to have gotten to this point. They work on their long-distance then he comes and takes her to the county he lives in, let's call it Barbados. They go to Barbados and they decide to get married and then they move back to her country and she continues making money. Later on, he decided to tell her to relax and just take a retire to live in his country. So the house he lived in back in Barbados was his parent's old house. They renovate the house and a year and a half later, he left her with nothing. She was chased out of the house by his family and the joint account they had he made sure he went away with all the money." Kamene narrated
I know right? This is an almost similar story to the movie many people were criticizing, 'A Fall From Grace'. The main character who was a lady was conned by a man who was way younger than her and she thought she found the one. Only for him to steal all her money and she was later on jailed but she got justice eventually.
"My friend told me a similar story saying her man was even sponsoring a girl with her money and taking her for trips in Paris."Kamene added
Kibe was shocked that women have a certain form of foolishness when they make it.
"If she is successful in all her life but failing in relationship then there is a certain foolishness I as a man I am unable to reconcile. Your brain shuts down because you can not function with this man." Kibe said
Contrary to the norm, today callers were women, who have gone through the same situation and are stuck wondering why.
"Let me tell, I am stuck I have a good job, I pay my rent and I have a car. I am beautiful and I have my kids but I am not leaving this guy. It is like your brain dies. I mean you know what is wrong but you are not leaving, you're stuck." Caller number one confessed
Caller number two said that the solution is for women to know how to balance life.
"There comes a time in life where you need to strike a balance in life. At the right time, you should look for one. Us women who have made it when men tried to lure us, we ignored them to go for money. Now, all we have left is trash men." Caller number two also confessed
The third caller made Kamene sad.
"Your discussion is depressing me. I have made so many men rich with my money. If you're not looking for men with money, you will attract men who are looking for money. I am even going through therapy so because of that, I have stopped dating.' She cried
From the number of calls Kiss Fm got today, women are going through so much that makes them give up on love and consider labeling men trash.
Andrew Kibe concluded saying, you get what you chase. If you chase money you get it, if you chase love, you get it.
