The hashtag #weshallovercome trended during the time of the attack and even after as people were being rescued and taken to hospital for immediate medical attention.
International celebrities among other who's who are standing with Kenya, sending messages of hope and condolences to the families of the dead lives that were lost.
As many casualties were receiving medical attention, there was an appeal for blood and we must commend Kenyans for their quick response to the request.
They turned out in large numbers especially at Avenue Hospital to a point they were overwhelmed asking donors to head over to Aga Khan. Twiiter user XtianDela even commented saying it took him two hours to finally donate because of the number of people who showed up.

Well other than Xtain Dela, Captain Otoyo better known as Otos was also at Mp Shah donating blood for the victims. He mentioned that since he cannot fight Alshaba, this is the only way he can help.
