Although many accuse her of being in it for the publicity, Kim’s activism seems to be the real deal.

Last year the star was integral in securing the release of non-violent drug offender Alice Marie Johnson, even lobbying President Trump for her release.

Back in June, the Executive In Chief granted Johnson clemency just a week after Kim visited the Commander In Chief to advocate for her release.

Johnson was serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for a first-time, non-violent drug offence.
