Kim Kardashian publicly warned Drake to ‘never threaten’ her family as she waded into her husband Kanye West’s latest explosive feud on Twitter on Friday morning.
The war broke out between Kanye, 41, and Drake after the Canadian musician, 32, reportedly asked for permission to use a sample from West’s track Say You Will.
Kim, 38, warned Drake to stay away from her partner and their children North, five, Saint, three, and Chicago, 10 months.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Kim directly addressed @drake with the eyes of her 59million Twitter followers as her witness to her social media rant.
Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake
The mother-of-three defended her rapper husband as the ‘most brilliant’ person she knows as she gushed over his ‘genius’ and innovative work.
She elaborated on Twitter:
My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world.
Kim broke her silence following on from Kayne’s epic Twitter rant on Thursday.
The I Love It artist spent much of the evening posting tweet after tweet about what he claimed were ‘threats’ made against him by the Canadian rapper.
‘So drake if anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect. So cut the tough talk,’ wrote Kanye.
In an earlier tweet, addressed to no one in particular, Kanye claimed ‘Drake called trying to threatened [sic] me.’
Another post read: ‘Never threaten north saint and Chicago’s dad bro’.
The Power rapper also took aim at Drake’s legacy, writing, ‘There would never be a drake without a Kanye west so never come out your mouth with a threat [sic]’.
In later tweets, the Gold Digger hitmaker again made claims about threats of violence, writing ‘You threatened the safety of me and my family’.
He also cried foul financially, writing, ‘You tried to hurt my pockets.’
