Rob Kardashian is trying to get his business off the ground with this help of his mom.
The reclusive member of the Kardashian family dropped a new collection from his recently created Halfway Dead streetwear brand on Wednesday.
Since the 32-year-old is banned from Instagram for posting revenge porn of ex Blac Chyna, his momager has taken the baton to run his social campaign.
Kris Jenner shared snaps on her own personal Instagram page of the new collection on Tuesday.
‘Loving all these new @halfwaydead pieces from @robkardashianofficial new streetwear brand!!! Releasing tomorrow at 9 am pst on Halfway-Dead.com,’ she captioned the image.
Her company, Jenner Communications manages Rob’s @Robkardashianofficial account as well as his @halfwaydead account.
The collection is a series of items like hoodies printed with graphics, not unlike Scott Disick’s new Talentless line.
The success of Rob’s label will be an interesting one to watch, as the notoriously reclusive member of the family stays mostly out of the spotlight.
He’s also prohibited from personally posting on Instagram, which is a huge marketing tool and money maker for his reality star sisters.
HopperHQ released it’s annual list of the highest-paid celebrities on Instagram this week and revealed that sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner can earn around $600K per Instagram post.
Kim Kardashian can command just under $1M according to the list and billionaire Kylie Jenner can earn over $1.2M.
When Forbes dubbed Kylie the youngest self-made billionaire, she attributed much of her massive success to her ability to market on the cheap to her millions of social media followers.
Rob, meanwhile, can do none of those things and only recently created a new Instagram page, two years after being banned from the social media platform.
Still technically banned from having a personal page, he found a loophole for his ‘fan account’ to be ‘managed by Jenner Communications.’
‘The bio and captions can’t be written in the first person,’ an Instagram honcho explained to TMZ.
‘Rob can’t upload posts himself, it must be managed by someone other than Rob and he can’t create any of his own content for the account.’
He enlisted his sisters to use their successful platforms to promote his new line and Kylie even shared an Instagram story wearing one of the Halfway Dead items.
‘Wearing @halfwaydead T-shirt last night’ the mother-of-one captioned the snap which she shared to her Instagram Stories.
Sister Khloe, 34, also helped promote Rob’s new line, sharing images of some of the apparel with the caption: ‘Rob worked with his friends on this new line @halfwaydead!!’
Back in July 2017, Rob violated Instagram’s community guidelines by posting snaps of his ex-fiancée Blac Chyna’s ‘breasts, backside, and genitals’ after allegedly catching her cheating.
