She celebrated her birthday last week while her husband Carmelo Anthony was spotted in Europe on a yacht with model Sara Smiri.
But La La Anthony shrugged off his absence telling People Monday he'd sent presents and shared a gushing Instagram post about her on her special day.
'He’s overseas at Fashion Week. He sent me some nice gifts and posted something really nice, so I was appreciative,' La La said.
Although the NBA player was absent, La La did spend time with their 12-year-old son Kiyan.
She told People her son 'gave me the nicest card, he hung out with me, balloons, flowers. He’s really a great kid, and we ended up having a really good day as well.'
And on her actual birthday last Tuesday, La La had the company of her BFF Kim Kardashian.
The former MTV VJ squeezed her curves into a skintight hot pink latex mini dress as she headed out with the 38-year-old reality star who was dressed in a black halter mini dress.
Then on Sunday, she enjoyed a birthday bash with friends at Premier Nightclub at Borgata in Atlantic City where she played poker and cut a huge personalized cake.
La La and Carmelo tied the knot in 2010, three years after Kiyan's birth.
The couple separated in 2017 over allegations of his infidelity but confirmed earlier this year that they are still an item.
On June 25, Carmelo, 35, posted a photo of his wife on his to wish her a happy birthday and wrote in the caption: 'Some of the most beautiful things worth having in your life come wrapped in a crown.'
'Your heart is full of love and affection. Your hands are always caring,' he added. 'I am lucky to have you as my wife. HAPPY BORN DAY QUEEN I LOVE YOU @lala.'
