Lady Gaga gives fans a vulnerable glimpse into her everyday life in the latest emotional teaser of her new Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two.

The pop sensation is seen battling intense chronic pain in hospital and appearing to smoke marijuana - a drug she has been addicted to in the past.

The Million Reasons singer, 31, also shows off her determined side as she vows to 'fight like f**king hell' in the show, which was filmed over eight months last year.

At several points in the clip, she is seen appearing to smoke marijuana - including in the car and while leaning against a wall.

Resting her cowboy boots against the car dashboard as she lights up, she later drawls: 'I always get stoned in Grandma's car.'

She also mingles with her famous friends - wrapping singer Florence Welch into a warm hug before laughing away with producer Mark Ronson in a studio.

Gaga later gives close friend, Donatella Versace, a loving hug after the fashion designer flew by private jet to support her ahead of her SuperBowl show.

Another scene sees the Applause hitmaker crouching on the floor in a pair of hotpants and a white crop top.

Looking emotional, she grits her teeth as she vows: 'I'm going to fight like f**king hell for them to f**king want this.'

Gaga - who has spoken openly about suffering from chronic joint and hip pain - is later seen on a hospital trolley, wincing as she's injected with anaesthetic.

Much of the trailer also follows the star's gruelling preparation for her now iconic performance at the Superbowl Halftime Show in February.

Rehearsing with a team of dancers in a studio, Gaga later mutters: 'It doesn't get bigger than this.'
