Younger generations might not know who he is but after watching Rocketman, they definitely will.

Directed by Dexter Fletcher, it does a great job of showing you what rockstars go through behind the scenes and letting you know that money and fame won't really buy you all the happiness in the world.
Taron Egerton (Elton John ) does a great job at portraying Elton John. He really embraces the role and does a great job. He has that infectious feeling, you know those guys who make you happy when their happy but when they are sad you feel sad? He does that.
Everyone else around him does a great job as well. They all stand out in their own way. The music in it I won't lie it's really good, so good in fact I will download it immediately I get the chance.
You'll find yourself humming along to the songs long after the movie is done. When a movie does that you know it's got you hook line and sinker and I love that. Taron Egerton sang the songs as well, good lord the man is talented.
You really get to see every aspect of the guy, I mean from the highs to the drug abuse, the depression and rehab, you really get to see how people who live that life style go through. I mean we all would probably love to live large, have millions and loved by everyone, but unfortunately it a lot harder than you think. It comes with the territory. This movie shows you that in its own unique way, that keeps you interested.
In the end it's a proper bio pic. You see what he went through as a child and how it affected him later on as an adult and how gifted he was. This movie does a great job at telling a story. Regularly a bio pic about someone usually goes from a to z giving you someone life story, But what this movie did differently, was tell a story in a musical type of way. Now normally I don't like musicals but this did it in such a way that made me fall in love with it completely cause your using Elton Johns music to tell Elton Johns' story.
It's not all roses though some pacing issues here and there are apparent if you can notice them as well as the same old thing you see in bio pics, but that doesn't dull the movie from how vibrant it is. Hopefully this movie gets an Oscar cause it's Oscar worthy.
