With days to election D-day in the United States of America, people are now more than ever following the elections.

The November third presidential election between President Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden is being regarded as the largest single betting event in history.

Since the last US elections in 2016, there has been heightened public interest in an alternative means of predicting which way the election may go. Many are choosing to follow the money, looking to political betting markets, as well as free-to-play prediction markets.

In Kenya, people are also following keenly the political betting markets to get a better read on who will be the next President of the United States.

Firms in Kenya like Jambobet are already offering markets and odds as to whom will win the election which has seen Kenyans engage and try to see if their favorite candidate will win the elections.

Jambobet has given President Trump a lower chance of retaining his seat compared to former VP Joe Biden. Joe Biden’s odds stand at 1.16 compared to Trump’s 4.5. This means that should someone place a bet on Mr. Trump, in the event that he wins the election, the person will win four times the initial amount of money that he or she placed on the bet.
