The Easy fix egg noodles recipe

Noodles to me (and I'm pretty sure thousands if not millions of other humans) are one of the best food inventions of all time.

Forget the fancy long Japanese noodles, I'm talking about the packed or tin noodles that just take 3 minutes to boil and you're good to go.

Noodles can be had as a whole meal you just need to tweak the recipe a little to fit your desire.

Most college students or busy working young individuals want a 10-minute quick fix before or after class/ rushing to or from work.

I must confess my love for eggs and noodles combined has helped me sort out the hunger pangs I encounter after work or a stressful day. Thus, this fun little recipe'

Note: You may choose to boil, fry or scramble the eggs depending on what you like.

Ingredients

  • Two packs of instant noodles
  • 2 eggs
  • Soy-sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Crushed garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 whole carrot
  • parsley 

Preparation Method

Step 1

Boil water with salt then add the instant noodles and allow them to boil for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 2

Drain the excess water once they are well cooked, sprinkle some vegetable oil (or half a teaspoon of margarine), and set aside

Step 3

 In a pan, add some vegetable oil and allow to heat. Add your chopped onions and carrots and allow them to cook till the onions brown.

Stir occasionally to avoid them sticking to the pan. Add the crushed garlic and stir.

Step 4

Add your noodles to the mix let them sit for a while then add your crushed eggs. Add soy sauce and a little water and stir gently.

Step 5

Add the pepper, noodles sauces mix (and any other spices you might want.) stir and let everything sit for a while.

Sprinkle chopped parsley and then serve. 

Enjoy with your favorite cold drink or plainly as you rush around the house.
