Mariah Carey's son Moroccan, aged seven, had some fun online recently. When the singer stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday she revealed the boy went a little crazy with spending.

The child, whose father is Nick Cannon, bought a dog and spent $5,000.

'I have to control them with the iPads... like literally he charged $5,000 on Amazon, he did. He figures everything out. The other night when he was with Nick (Cannon) and he ordered a dog, and they called him and he was like your dog is ready.

'The dog's been cancelled,' she told Kimmel. 'We have dogs. They have pets! They have fish. They have everything they need.'

The 48-year-old New Yorker just oozed sexy in her skintight black dress with sheer half-sleeves that highlighted her cleavage.

She added a pair of platform-soled black toe heels, a gorgeous double rope diamond necklace, matching earrings and some super fashionable sunglasses.

Her hair was classic Mariah, opting to have her dyed long blond tresses straightened and sleek with a part down the middle.

During the interview, The hit maker also talked about her time on American Idol where she served as judge. She described it as a 'bleak time,' and admitted that she wanted to remember the positives which included 'getting some fantastic memes.'

Kimmel asked her if she warned her friend and former touring partner Lionel Richie about signing on for the ABC reboot.

'Is it true that you told him not to do American Idol when he was thinking about whether or not he should judge it?'

'If I didn't, I should have,' she responded to laughter from the audience.

She came back to the topic a minute later, 'Oh wait, can I just clarify? I keep interrupting my own promotion. I wasn't saying that Lionel wouldn't be a great judge. I was just saying I didn't have the world's best experience.'

Mariah and co-judge Nicki Minaj were known to have had some legendary squabbles during their time together on 12th season of America Idol, when it was still on Fox.
